Days: Tuesday to Friday

Hours: Tuesday to Thursday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Flexible)

Children: B13m

Pay: $35 - $40 per hour via payroll
- Driving required; own car preferred (free parking space available)
- Nanny immunisation: Preferably fully vaccinated
- Pet in household; no pet-related duties
- Swimming ability preferred but not essential
- Background in early childhood education; university degree ideal

The nanny’s duties include preparing snacks and meals, assisting the child to get ready for outdoor adventures such as playgrounds or playgroups, planning age-appropriate educational and creative activities, and managing nap times. Additional responsibilities include light household tasks related to the child, such as tidying, cleaning, laundry, and managing the child’s belongings and schedule.

Parents will sometimes be home on a separate floor and prefer to remain out of sight to avoid upsetting the child when coming and going. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to managing these transitions are essential.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Organise and plan creative, engaging, and educational activities
- Build a strong, positive relationship with the child
- Ensure a safe, hygienic environment
- Manage child-related household chores, including tidying, cleaning, and laundry
- Prepare nutritious snacks and meals
- Maintain all aspects of the child’s care routine

- Non-smoker
- Ability to swim is preferred but not essential
- Full, valid driver’s licence and own car preferred
- Background in early childhood education; university degree ideal
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain ASAP)
- Minimum 3 years full-time experience working with children, especially babies and toddlers
- At least 2 Australian-based child-related references
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain ASAP)
- Current National Criminal Record Check
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
- Ad hoc weekend work may be required
- Potential for live-in arrangements in the future
