**Full Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced payroll officer to join one of Australia's most trusted and well-known brands in a supportive and forward-thinking payroll team.
This team is aligned to support the workers compensation team. As a payroll officer you will be responsible for managing weekly compensation payments and business reimbursements. They are happy to train on different state requirements and upskill your knowledge of the workers compensation industry.
**This is a permanent full-time role based in Perth CBD with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week.**
**The role**
- To excel in this role you will have excellent analytical skills, as you will be utilizing excel spreadsheets to determine weekly compensation payments.
- You’ll be joining an small high performing team for a well known Australian brand, reporting directly to the team manager.
**About you**
- Experience in payroll processing or performing a similar role in a workers compensation environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication capabilities
- Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- A genuine interest and passion to learn and develop new skills
