**About the role**

The Project Officer is responsible for providing project management support on a wide range of family violence program matters within the Family Violence Policy and Practice Unit (FVPPU). The role supports the day to day operations of the FVPPU, including developing and maintaining business unit documents and project administration systems, preparing complex project documentation, building effective relationships with stakeholders, organising project meetings and assisting in risk and issue management.

**About you**

The role requires someone capable of providing program and project management support and expertise to assist in meeting project objectives and timelines. You must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with key senior internal and external stakeholders including the judiciary, management, colleagues, registry staff and departmental staff. You will be required to have advanced proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, including word processing, spreadsheets, key project documentation and the capability to design presentations. The role requires the ability to collect, analyse and present information and data to inform decision making and/or provide recommendations. An understanding of court operations and experience with project support will be beneficial.
