As the **Long-Term Planner**, you'll be pivotal in leading medium to long-term plans that optimise our maintenance supply chains and ensure our operations stay ahead. **Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate annual strategic and quarterly planning meetings, driving collaboration across teams to deliver on long-term asset and maintenance strategies and customer demand.
- Coordinate capital planning and forecasting, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
- Work with Supply Chain to manage inventory strategy for parts requirements.
- Develop strategies for external workshop partnerships to optimise capacity, improve velocity and quality outcomes.
- Manage maintenance supply chain efficiency, anticipating variability in parts, labour, and asset availability to meet customer demand.
- Use planning tools to evaluate scenarios, assessing risk and opportunities while ensuring alignment with the company’s broader strategy.
- Track performance metrics to monitor progress and adapt plans as necessary.

**What You'll Need**
- Strong experience in planning in a capital-intensive industry (mining preferred).
- A proven track record in asset management and lifecycle costing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams.

**Who is Bis?**

Bis own the largest fleet of Underground Hire Equipment in the Coal Mining Industry. We provide casual and long-term hire of run of mine equipment including Load Haul Dump (LHD) Machines, Graders, and Personnel Transporters. Bis also provide casual and long-term hire of Longwall Move Equipment including Mules, Heavy Lift Load Haul Dump Machines, Pan Pickers and Dozers, ensuring greater security and flexibility while preserving valuable capital for our clients.

Our Diesel and Electrical Services Division offer complete equipment overhauls, scheduled servicing and machine repairs using the workshop base, and field service crews equipped to operate autonomously at the site of the customer.

Uniquely tasked with growing the business further, Bis are looking to further the footprint in the Underground Industry with a wide selection of equipment purchases in the future.
