**About the Assignment**

This position reports to the Team Leader - Procurement - Corporate and Cross Business. The role will support all aspects of the Santos Information Systems (IS) procurement category in support of the company’s onshore & offshore operating division assets and Santos corporate program, in a way which optimises risk and value in order to contribute to Santos’ competitive advantage and meet its business objectives.

Tasks include:

- Support the IS Category Lead in management the IS category (circa $150M) for all Santos corporate and onshore & offshore operating division procurement needs.
- Develop strategies to continue a one Santos approach between legacy Santos, Santos Offshore and future acquisitions,
- Uphold and ensure compliance with all company standards and processes.

Key accountabilities include:

- Deliver end to end contracting and procurement in support of corporate, onshore and offshore development projects for the IS category which may include:

- TCO, should cost, bench marking, and other analyses
- sourcing activities for software, communications infrastructure, and other technology services
- drafting recommendations for delegates that are informed by market intelligence and that balance risk and value
- SRM activities for contracts under management
- Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing needs are understood and supply chain strategies aligned.
- Ensure development and execution of sourcing strategies and category plans to achieve lowest total cost outcomes whilst accommodating delivery of scope growth.
- Build and maintain business relationships with key suppliers for assigned category.
- Manage supplier performance within category to ensure optimum cost, quality, and safe delivery in support of IS projects.
- Lead and contribute to negotiations for IS products and services.
- Ensure contracts within the category are maintained to high standard and adequately administered including ACV, term, variations and claims.
- Comply with Supply Chain Standards ensuring requirements are complied with or modified as required.
- Ensure all sourcing and contracting activities comply with JV Agreements.

This assignment is initially offered for 06 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.

Location for this assignment is Adelaide working full-time office hours.

**About You**

Essential experience required for this position includes:

- Significant experience as a procurement specialist, contracts analyst or category analyst specifically within Information Systems and Technology.
- Previous experience working in a large complex organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through sound influencing and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders
- A strong commercial acumen, coupled with a commitment to achieving commercial strategies
- A commitment to procurement best practice as continuous improvement

**Mandatory Tickets / Quals / Certs / Skills**
- Supply Chain Management, Business, Law, Engineering or project related (e.g. QS / Construction Management).
