**About the role and team**

We have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Learning Design Lead to join the team, reporting into the Senior Manager Learning Design. This role is the people leader of two learning designers.

As the Learning Design Lead you'll get to:

- Design and create contemporary learning experiences and solutions to help address key capability gaps across the organisation.
- Create learning content using contemporary learning design principles and appropriate content authoring tools (Articulate, Storyline, Rise, Vyond) aligned to needs analysis.
- Define, measure, and interpret learning impact using a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

This role can be based in Melbourne, Adelaide, Bendigo, Sydney or Brisbane for the minimum two days per week that you are based in the office, noting that hybrid ways of working are our norm.

**About you**

To be successful in the role, you'll have:

- A relevant tertiary degree in Adult Learning (desirable), Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or relevant on the job experience).
- Extensive and proven experience creating learning solutions in contemporary and creative ways that incorporate adult learning theories, maximise technology, and learning on-the-job.
- Advanced ability to interpret and define business outcomes, learning needs, and derive appropriate measurement processes.
- Strong and proven experience in project management, being able to manage and coordinate multiple learning projects into a cohesive program of work.
- Demonstrated people leadership capabilities.
- Confidence developing relationships with a complex network of stakeholders to negotiate with influence.
- The ability to ask the right questions, think outside the square, challenge the status quo, and imagine yourself in the learner's mindset.
