HammondCare Wahroonga needs a Casual Specialised Dementia Advisor to join our team. This is covering a range of shifts including Mornings, Afternoon/Evenings and Nights as needed.

**About the role**:
Our Registered Nurse must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision, displaying a level of competence and experience that comes with at least 1 years’ experience.

As the RN, you will be a core member of the residential team and work with both the management of the home and the specialised carers to provide tailored and individualised responsive care for the residents.

**Your day to day will include (but is not limited to)**:

- Advising and supporting the care delivery by the care staff
- Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes
- Be Consultative in case management and clinical decision making.
- Offer Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
- Implement and support a resident comfort focus.

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Demonstrate a minimum 1 years’ experience as a registered nurse, working alone and in a team.
- Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts across 7 days.
- Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs.
- Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & you want to make a difference in their lives.
- Use of medical record systems is a must.
- Experience in a residential setting is highly desirable.
