**How will I Help?**
This role is part of the Cash & Transactional Banking Operations, a business within Group Operations. You will bring your passion and enthusiasm for leading people and transforming processes to our Cash Management Operations business. Reporting to the Operations Manager Cash Management, you will take on a leadership role and have the opportunity to influence how we help our customers. We take our reputation for providing outstanding customer outcomes seriously, so you’ll need the same high standard for customer service delivery.

To be successful in this role you will be comfortable leading large teams in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment. You will have a proven track record of seeking continuous improvement and providing strong leadership to your teams, as well as building strong relationships with stakeholders across large organisations. In return, you’ll get to work for Australia’s first bank in the heart of the business. You will be given the opportunity to take ownership and accountability of your business area and create meaningful change to our customers and the people around you.

**What do I need?**
We haven’t been around for 200 years for no reason and there are some non-negotiable skills required to be a successful leader in the Cash Management Operations business:

- The ability to coach and mentor a team who work in a fast paced & complex environment
- Contribute to the broader Operations strategy, particularly in how the business manages Risk & Control
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering against multi-dimensional targets
- Ability to focus and have a flexible approach when faced with change & completing priorities
- Experience leading a team who work with strict deadlines
- Effective communication with the ability to maintain relationships with different businesses and different cultures
- Ability to lead a team with proven track record driving high performance, including coaching, setting objectives and development planning
- Strong values aligned to the Westpac core values
