In line with this we are looking for a talented and engaging Solution Specialist/Pre-Sales consultant to join a team that's delivering national-scale data and reporting platforms and AI-ready data foundations for leading enterprises and government bodies across Australia.

**Job Purpose**

As a Data & Analytics (D&A) Solution Specialist, you will play a key role in our Team acting as a bridge between sales and delivery combining your technical expertise, business acumen, and ability to engage and influence our customers to drive sales outcomes by leveraging leading edge tools provided by Microsoft, Snowflake and AWS.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Actively work with our account team, uncover opportunities to upsell and cross-sell data & reporting solutions in our existing customer base
- Own and manage a strong pipeline of D&A opportunities
- Drive client engagement through compelling demos, strategic storytelling, and proof-of-concepts that link directly to customer needs
- Engage with vendors and partners to maintain a deep understanding of emerging technologies and opportunities and to unlock funding to support our customers’ projects
- Work with the Fusion5 marketing team to create content to support sales and marketing activities for the pillar.

**You will have**:

- 5+ years’ experience in a solution consultant or hybrid technical/pre-sales role
- Strong technical background with the capability to operate at a helicopter view level whilst understanding and influencing the detail
- Proven track record of successful pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, workshops, and demonstrations
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with customers, vendors, and partners
- In-depth knowledge and certifications of Microsoft technologies, including Fabric, Azure and Power BI
- Demonstrable practical experience & knowledge of Data Strategies. Data Governance, Content Lifecycle & Data Management and Security, Data Privacy & Compliance
- Exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-Suite executives
- Business acumen to align technology solutions with customer goals and deliver measurable business value
- Advanced presentation & demonstration skills
- Other data & AI related certifications such as Snowflake & AWS advantageous
- A relevant Tertiary qualification preferred.
