**The Opportunity**: This is a casual role and will be based in **South-East Melbourne & Gippsland Region**. Are you looking for a job which provides flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities?

**About You**: We require our support workers to be reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals to provide quality care to our clients.
- **At least one year of experience supporting people in an aged care setting or with disabilities is an advantage.**_

**Duties may include**:

- Social & community participation
- Personal care
- Household tasks
- Skill development - shopping and cooking
- Transport - transport to appointments/participations
- Social & community participation

**Requirements**:

- Experience is an advantage
- Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Valid Working with Children’s Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS worker's screening clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Must have a driver’s license and reliable car. (willingness to drive up to 30 mins from home)
- Full working Rights to work in Australia
- Certificate of COVID Vaccination

OTHER:

- Certificate I - IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or equivalent (for higher levels of care in accordance with the SCHADS Act)

**Schedule**:

- Day shifts
- Afternoon shifts
- Night shifts
- Fixed shifts
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Working with people with developmental disabilities: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
