One of Australia’s reputable Federal Government Departments is looking to engage with a **ICT Strategist / Project Support Officer** to join their team. The successful** ICT Strategist / Project Support Officer** under the direction of the Director to improve the capability and interoperability of departmental systems and processes. The successful **ICT Strategist / Project Support Officer** will secure an **initial 12 month contract plus 2 x 6 month extension options **and **a rewarding hourly rate.**

The successful **ICT Strategist / Project Support Officer** will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Work with a small team and engage across the Department to develop a framework for assessing current state ICT and identifying opportunities from a range of perspectives
- Design and lead the engagement and consultation across the Department on the draft Roadmap, including technical and business areas and Senior Executives.
- Conduct analysis to identify opportunities across government to collaborate and drive benefits for the department
- Work with management team to identify risks that affect project costs, profits, and customer relations.

The successful **ICT Strategist / Project Support Officer** will need to meet the following criteria:

- Demonstrated experience in working with strategy or policy development
- Proven ability to analyse data to derive useful information and insights
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
