**The Opportunity**

Our Land Domain Team is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Support Specialist to join our growing team in Melbourne supporting the Lethality Program. The Lethality Program ensures ADF dismounted combatants, operating as part of a combined arms team, have a range of state of the art lethal and non-lethal systems that will decisively overmatch potential and emerging adversaries. The team is required to acquire and deliver the next generation of munitions and weapon systems to enable the war fighter to conduct their mission effectively.

The Commercial Support Specialist role within Lethality will be responsible for the following tasks and outcomes:

- Participate in project status report meetings with the SLT.
- Development and support to an RFI and additional potential approach to industry for improving capability.
- Support the development of Tranche 3 Documentation for Gate 1.
- Support to Solution Definition Study Negotiation and delivery following government approval of the Industry Partner.
- Development and delivery of an Industry Partner Contract up until Gate 2.
- Contract management of the Industry Partner until Gate 2.
- Work task construction and negotiation with the Industry Partner throughout the contractual period.

**Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Commerce or similar.
- Commercial / Contract Management experience with a Defence environment with strong working knowledge of ASDEFCON suite of templates.
- Commercial acumen including finance, procurement and contracting experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a Defence Environment (Land preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in the current Capability Life Cycle.
- Awareness of Defence Procurement Practices.
- Knowledge of Defence Writing standards (desirable).
- Knowledge of internal Defence processes (desirable).

**This role requires **immediate access to ITAR information and** an NV1 security clearance. Job location is Victoria Barracks in Melbourne.**
