Job Description

This permanent, part‑time opportunity offers hands‑on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location

Mornington, VIC, 3931

You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday:

Afternoon position only – 2:40 pm to 6:00 pm. Total hours per week: 17.5.

As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high‑quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. - Innovation: Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.

- Fun: Play and have FUN with primary school‑aged children.

- Remarkable: Support with ensuring your program complies with industry regulations.

The Successful Candidate

- ✅ Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential – we can train you

- ✅ Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and still a big kid at heart

- ✅ Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.

- ✅ Strong team player with excellent problem‑solving skills and a can‑do, positive attitude.

- ✅ Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‑aged children.

- ✅ Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN

- ✅ Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
