As the **Retail Manager** at IGA Xpress Plus Liquor, you will be responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, and driving the store’s sales performance. You will lead and motivate a dynamic team while maintaining operational excellence and adhering to company policies.

Our store offers a wide selection of groceries, fresh produce, and a premium range of liquor, catering to the diverse needs of our valued customers. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Stock and Inventory Management**: Ensure optimal stock levels, manage orders, and minimize waste while maintaining product availability.
- **Customer Service Leadership**: Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, address customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
- **Sales and Promotions**: Drive sales through effective product placement, promotion execution, and upselling opportunities.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, transactions, and store performance.
- **Budgeting and Profitability**: Assist in preparing and managing budgets to ensure financial goals are met and profitability is maintained.
- **Team Supervision**: Lead, train, and develop staff to ensure they meet performance expectations and uphold high standards of service.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations and liquor licensing requirements.

**To Be Successful, You Will Have**:

- A Diploma in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail management or supervisory role, preferably in a liquor or grocery environment.
- A strong understanding of stock management, sales, and budget reporting.
- Leadership and team-building skills to drive high performance and foster a positive work environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
