Our **Technical, Advisory, and Capability**practice and **Team Downer**serves as one of the Major Service Providers delivering consulting services and Integrated Work Packages across the Department of Defence, leveraging innovative approaches such as mission and digital engineering to enable the successful delivery of critical Defence programs.

This includes collaboration with key Defence entities, including **Defence Digital Group (DDG), National Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG), Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG),**and branches across the **Navy, Army, and Air Force**.

We're interested in hearing from professionals specialising in **V&V and T&E Management**.

If successful in securing a role, your work may involve:

- Conduct verification and validation (V&V) activities to ensure systems meet design specifications and operational requirements
- Support test planning, execution, and reporting across developmental and operational test phases
- Collaborate with engineering, integration, and project teams to define test objectives and acceptance criteria
- Identify, analyse, and document test results, issues, and risks throughout the capability lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with Defence standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance processesProvide technical input into test strategies, evaluation frameworks, and readiness reviews
- Understanding of systems engineering principles and Defence Capability Lifecycle (DCLC) or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong documentation skills, including test plans, procedures, and reports
- Qualifications in engineering, IT, systems assurance, or a related discipline desirable

Experience in Verification & Validation and/or Test & Evaluation within complex ICT or Defence systemsOur work is **highly complex and confidential;**applicants must be Australian citizens with a minimum NV1 security clearance. Additionally, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be necessary. In some cases, this may impose restrictions individuals who are dual citizens, permanent residency, or former nationality of specific countries as outlined in ITAR 126.1.
