**The Role**
The Retail Business Controller is responsible for driving process that ensures operational compliance throughout the Swatch Group Australia retail POS network. This will be achieved through on-site visits to review compliance with operational processes and procedures, make suggestions for improvements, and remote monitoring of financial results and transactions. The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 excluding super.

This role will be responsible for
- Develop, maintain and execute programs to ensure all POS inventory is appropriately and accurately counted
- Co-ordinate stocktake activity to ensure counts are conducted and results documented as per agreed schedule
- Communicate stocktake results to internal stakeholders
- Analyse and provide support in developing new and cost-effective systems for stocktaking
- Monitor and test Brand cycle count activity
- Ensure adherence to controlling requirements by overseeing audits to maintain financial and operational integrity
- Document findings for review with Brand stakeholders
- Develop and agree on Action Plan to address any areas for improvement
- Monitor and review POS transactions to ensure they are completely and accurately reflected
- During site visits take time to explain key control concepts to ensure that there is a level of understating of all key control areas
- Ensure all aspects of the Loss Prevention manual are understood by Brand Retail Teams through quality communication and education

The person in this role would need to have the following skills and experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Loss Prevention/Internal Control/Management Accounting
- Business or Related Degree Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong influencing skills with ability to clearly communicate audit findings and process improvements
- Strong systems knowledge
- Proven analytical skills
- Administration skills, including strong attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Presents a professional image
- Ability to work autonomously
- Able to engage people to provide one to one feedback and coaching
- Good relationship builder
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve individual and company objectives
- Proactive attitude, highly organised and able to work in a matrix organisation
- Enthusiastic, energetic and results driven
