About the role

What you need to know:
Product Governance
- Ownership and Accountability for the co-ordination of AIGAL’s Product Lifecycle Governance Framework
- Maintain, update and Improve the Product Lifecycle Governance Framework including updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Terms of Reference (TOR)
- Co-ordinate Product Governance Requirements with Underwriting, Compliance, Legal, Communications, Client Broker Engagement, Claims, Actuarial and Senior Leadership
- Ensure post launch reviews are undertaken by the business within twelve months of product launch
- Maintain up to date inventory of policy wordings in Global Policy Forms Library
- Secretarial responsibility for the Product Governance Committee (PGC)
- Support leadership in Governance initiatives across AIGAL Commercial Lines Underwriting when required

Product Reviews
- Coordinate policy wording and product reviews across all AIGAL products
- Maintain up to date inventory of policy wordings in Global Policy Forms Library
- Support Profit Centres in understanding Prod Governance and policy wording requirements, ensure delivery of requirements within timeframes
- Maintain up to date registers of Product Governance requirements in AIG Risk/Compliance/Governance tool (Triline)

What we’re looking for:

- Project management experience preferred
- A background in general insurance including commercial products
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Previous experience in Governance, Compliance or Risk role preferred
- Professional experience in working well with other teams to successfully achieve goals
- Proven ability to prioritize projects and respond promptly in appropriate manner
- Demonstrated success anticipating internal and external client needs and act proactively
- Proven ability to identify problems and deliver appropriate solutions
