**About the Role**
The role is a temporary, part-time position while studying.
Several of the key duties of the positions include:
- Prepare, under supervision, quality and professional planning advice to customers.
- Provide, under supervision, quality and professional advice to internal and external departments, agencies, developers and the community regarding planning legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Assist with the development of services, projects and programs provided by the department
- Undertake other duties as directed within the skills and abilities of a position at this level.
**Skills & Experience**
- General knowledge of planning, and related legislation impacting on the municipality, the planning scheme, local laws and Council policy.
- Ability to research and analyse planning related issues.
- Ability to manage time, set priorities and prepare and implement work plans in order to achieve desired results within the resources and time available.
- Well developed customer service principles.
