As part of our growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Technology Platforms Manager to join our Technology and Information Security team in Melbourne.

About the opportunity

As the Technology Platforms Manager, you will manage a small team of technical experts and will be responsible for the operational stability, scale, and performance of technology systems. As a leader with a strong understanding of contemporary approaches to work, you have a unique opportunity to work directly with the General Manager, IT Operations and play an integral role in leading our ways of working and continuing our evolution to the cloud.

**You will**:
Drive a consistent approach for end-to-end delivery and operations of infrastructure platforms.

Provide ongoing development, management, and leadership of the Platforms team, ensuring the most efficient use of their skills and abilities.

Take initiative to communicate, interact, and collaborate with others to ensure that all aspects of a project or task are addressed.

Create and review the infrastructure product & services roadmaps

Be the cloud evangelist to educate the business on “what is possible” and to drive transformative business value through cloud adoption.

This role is about best practice, and we will look to you for leadership and experience in uplifting and modernising our technology landscape through a well-articulated, iterative program of work.

About you

You are a strong technology leader; and you may already be in or looking to step into a senior leadership role. What makes you stand out is your exposure to creating and reviewing infrastructure product & services roadmaps, and your experience leading technology teams to create and build a continuous improvement, positive team environment and culture. You are looking for a role that you can build out and make your mark.

We want you to bring your IT Operations experience and sound knowledge of ITIL foundations and be able to demonstrate success in continuous improvement and the delivery of strategic initiatives. You are a strong communicator, and you are comfortable working within frameworks and models.

You have a university qualification in IT or a related business area and a strong business acumen and bring leadership, structured thinking, and passion around being able to really make your mark
