Are you passionate about retail and providing exceptional customer service? Gashapon Bandai Official Shop is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable part-time Retail Sales Assistants to join our team at The Glen Shopping Centre, Glen Waverley.

We are seeking passionate individuals who have a genuine interest for Gashapon and Japanese culture to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing customers with friendly service and great product knowledge.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectively
- Execute daily operational routines
- Ensure the machines are filled with new stock
- Perform regular checks to ensure all machines are working properly
- Receive stock deliveries and verify accuracy against delivery dockets
- Organise stock in designated areas
- Input stock information accurately into our in-house system on Airtable
- Keep store clean and tidy at all times

**Requirements**:

- Friendly and helpful to customers and team members
- Highly organised with a focus on maintaining a tidy work environment
- Reliable and punctual in meeting work commitments
- Attentive to details and demonstrates strong attention to accuracy
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly conveying information to staff and superiors
- Available to start immediately
- Ability to speak Japanese is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Bandai products and Anime culture is also highly desirable

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.63 - $35.11 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
