**About t**he **r**ole**:
As the Endoscopy Services Access Manager (ESAM) you will have overall responsibility for coordinating the service provision, staffing and resources for an efficiently functioning Endoscopy service at Austin Health.
**Key responsibilities will see you**:
- Oversee and coordinate the management of endoscopy service patients, including developing models of care and planning end to end processes for endoscopy activities
- Establish systems for robust and effective monitoring and strengthen the engagement of Heads of Units (HOUs) to ensure performance data, monitoring of quality indicators and audit process are in place
- Act as a key lead and resource for the development and implementation of actions and improvements that arise from the endoscopy end-to-end project, tracking of recommendations related to SCV reports and local incidents related to patient safety events
- Manage all human resource requirements for the Liaison Nurses/Nurse Coordinators who form part of the Endoscopy Services portfolio

The Endoscopy Services Access Manager will be a highly driven and innovative individual. A great collaborator, fast learner, adaptable, an excellent communicator and have a strategic approach to problem solving and planning. Demonstrated experience in leadership and management is desirable.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the endoscopy services booking processes, elective surgery access policy (ESAP) and key performance indicators related to Endoscopy Services
- Experience in planning and organising, with strong problem-solving skills and leadership capability
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with a range of stakeholders
