**The Role**
As the Engineering Systems Manager, you will be responsible to the Deputy Chief Engineer, providing planning, management and development of the NASPO Engineering Management System (EMS). The EMS scope covers engineering and technical activities associated with 21J, CAMO and MTCH obligations, in addition to general CASG quality requirements.

Duties include provision of aviation technical support and services in the areas of:

- Optimisation of the NASPO EMS
- Development of outcome focused EMS maximising DASR flexibility

**About our Team**
Navy Aviation System Program Office (NASPO) within Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group is responsible for supporting current Navy Aviation capabilities while developing and supporting new technologies into the future.

TESSU is a specialised aviation engineering team embedded within NASPO who are accountable for providing core-engineering design and technical support services for NASPO managed Aviation platforms. TESSU comes under direct management of the NASPO Chief Engineer and provides the central engineering resources for NASPO.
- Have demonstrated a high level of knowledge in ADF aviation operations and associated policy/regulations.
- Have demonstrated a high level of knowledge in the Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASRs) and CASG Quality requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, including strong emotional intelligence, resilience and adaptability.
- Demonstrated experience in working in organisations providing complex engineering or technical services.
- Have strong conceptual, analytical and data visualisation skills.
