At BAE Systems we are all systems go as we continue to drive innovation and seek passionate and talented people to join our business. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Assistant/ Sentry to join our maritime sustainment team based in Henderson, WA.

- Core hours will be 8 hours per day Monday to Friday with opportunity for overtime in busier periods
- 12 month fixed term contract

**Your new role**:
As a Trade Assistant / Sentry at BAE Systems, your duties will be;
- Confined Space and Fire Sentry duties
- Trade Assistant duties (working with Boilermakers)
- Power tool usage
- General housekeeping on the ships

About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will need the following:

- Experience working as a Confined Space / Fire Sentry
- Experience working as a Trade Assistant
- Marine experience desirable
- Confined Space Licence
- Basic Fire Training
- White Card
- Ability to work autonomously or part of a team
- An excellent attitude towards safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
