**Key Responsibilities**:
**Professional Photography**:

- Operate and maintain professional photography equipment including DSLR cameras, lights/flashes, and other peripherals.
- Utilize a thorough understanding of ISO, aperture, and shutter speed to ensure high-quality photos.
- Train staff in the use of photography equipment and techniques to maintain consistent photo quality across all Santaland locations.

**Management**:

- Manage the daily operations of the Santaland photography studios in the CBD store and potentially a group of suburban stores as agreed.
- Travel to and assist in the management of other stores as needed.
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 30 casual retail photographers.
- Oversee staff training to ensure competency in running Santaland Photographic studios.
- Communicate effectively with the Santa and Helper Supervisor and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Review and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage for each shift.
- Authorize timesheets and ensure accurate payroll for your designated stores.
- Complete daily and weekly communications and reports, including stock management, equipment issues, and HR matters.
- Address and manage minor HR issues, escalating to higher management as needed.
- Provide performance feedback for each staff member at the end of the Santaland season.
- Manage the allocation of spare uniforms and communicate with the HR Coordinator regarding costume replacements.
- Relay directions from Myer and Solution Entertainment to your team members.
- Report directly to the National Operations Manager.

**Availability**:

- Must be available for the full duration of Santaland operations, including bump-in, bump-out, and training dates.
- Required to be available on Christmas Eve.

**Customer Service**:

- Demonstrate a passion for customer service with outstanding communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to problem-solve.
- Ensure that all staff are well-presented and wear the provided uniform.

**Consumable Coordination Responsibilities**:

- Ensure daily updates of stock counts within the software for all managed stores.
- Report any stock breakage or spoilage as part of daily reports.
- Coordinate the delivery and management of consumable stock and replacement parts.

**Equipment Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with the National Operations Manager regarding equipment issues that cannot be independently resolved.
- Report serious equipment malfunctions to National Operations immediately.
- Include equipment status in daily and weekly reports.

**Reporting Responsibilities**:

- Daily confirmation of updated stock counts for CBD and suburban stores.
- Daily reporting of stock spoilage.
- Daily and weekly reporting on equipment faults, HR issues, and general store operations.
- Weekly comments on customer experience, staff morale, and any other relevant management issues.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
- Mobile phone.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Availability for all training days, bump-in, bump-out, and Christmas Eve.

**Position**:

- Seasonal, Casual, or Part-Time position.

**Remuneration**:

- Compensation will be in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award (MA000080).
