**About the role**:
Reporting to the General Manager of Power Generation, the Engineering Manager position involves directing and managing a professional team engaged in interconnected engineering activities. This role will be responsible for delivering complex solutions and managing projects for power generation sites. Additionally, you will provide engineering support for new business development and acquisitions as needed. This role requires a strong emphasis on supporting the team to achieve its objectives and maintains high-performance standards.

**_ In this role, you’ll b_**_e_**:

- Supervise the management and allocation of engineering service requests and oversee change management activities.
- Offer technical engineering guidance to various stakeholders to support the achievement of engineering deliverables.
- Plan and oversee all aspects of the implementation of the Asset Management System and associated project management.
- Ensure engineering services are aligned with site-based project delivery, achieving optimal timelines.
- Align team capabilities with the business objectives of the function, fostering a collaborative team culture.

**_Ideally, you’ll bring to the role: _**
- Have a tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline (preferably electrical)
- Be a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng)
- Experienced professional engineer with proven management and business expertise.
- Extensive experience in the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of Gas fired power stations.
- Successful proven track record in leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers.
- Proven success in creating innovative engineering solutions to complex problems and managing service agreements, contracts, and management of major projects.
