**About the role**

We are changing the way children learn and teachers teach. We empower our teachers to teach differently through a structured curriculum, our unique teaching methodology, and our problem-solving strategy.

In this role, your duties will involve working closely with an experienced team under the supervision of our headteacher and will include responsibilities such as:

- Teaching in a classroom (6-8 students) using our textbooks both after school and/or Saturday
- Small group teaching sessions
- Lesson preparation is mínimal. We use our pre-written curriculum & structured training program to suit all learning types
- Lesson and mínimal homework marking
- Communication with headteacher regarding student progression.

**Skills and experience**
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
- NSW Working With Children's Check and Police check
- Experience with teaching online is a bonus

**We look for someone who**:

- Possesses a genuine passion for teaching
- Is a bubbly, open-minded person
- Is excellent in communication
- Hold a current WWCC
- Holds (or about to complete) a degree in Education and/or a degree in Arts, Philosophy, History plus a Diploma in Education

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
