Experienced Disability Support Worker

This position is a **Casual Position starting with 15-20 hours per week with the potential for more hours. Our current services available are morning and evening services**
To be successful for this position you must have the following:
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker screening check
- First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Orientation Modules
- COVID-19 Infection Control (Australian Government)
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- **Experience preferred, additional training will be provideded **. (No formal qualifications are required)
**Job Role**
As a disability support worker, you will be required to assist clients in their own homes with daily life activities such as personal care, meal preparation and domestic assistance.
You may be required to provide support with some of the following:
- Personal Care (Showering, bathroom assistance & grooming)
- Medication Monitoring - (We provide on-the-job training and nationally recognised certificate)
- Incontinence - (Uridome, Pad changes, basic daily catheter care - Training provided)
- Palliative Care ( Both aged care and aggressive forms of disability)
- Domestic Assistance (Light House Work, shopping and light yard work)
- Meal Preparations
- Social Support
- Transport to and from appointments
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus
COVID-19 considerations:
Covid-19 Vaccination is required as per the current mandates.
Face Masks, Hand Sanitiser and other PPE is supplied.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wollongong NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
