
Medical Receptionist

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable medical receptionist to join our team. Myhealth has a caring and encouraging culture that aims to provide high quality healthcare services to all our patients. We are located within the International Towers in Barangaroo, the newly developed area of Sydney CBD, with two other sister clinics that are located close by which all have easy access to public transport. Myhealth has clinics in NSW, QLD and VIC and this job is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking to work for a reputable and multi-centred organisation.
Required/Preferred Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, and a dependable organised character
- Posses a strong customer service ethos
- Takes initiative in completing tasks and improving workplace
- Prior experience with Best Practice software or similar medical billing software.
- Willingness to learn and ask questions
- Ability to work in a team environment and individually
- Ability to multi task and perform appropriately under pressure with attention to detail
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- Great social skills.
- Enthusiastic and energetic personality.
- Attention to detail when conducting all tasks.
Responsibilities Include
- Reception duties including answering phone call, checking in patients, booking appointments, answering patient inquiries.
- Answering and completing tasks set by GP's and Specialists
- Basic cleaning and infection control in the practice
- Opening and Closing the Practice
- Billings including Medicare, HICAPS, Private, Workcover and CTP
- Must be available for 25-28 hours of work each week
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 28 per week
**Salary**: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
