**Salary**:$85,000-$90,000 inclusive of superannuation

Location: Office location will be determined dependent on the right applicant, as we have offices based in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

You will be responsible for bringing together data, creativity and multiple methods to help our stakeholders make better choices rooted in human insights. All our people, processes and technology are united through our focus on understanding, accelerating and optimizing the current offerings, making them more satisfying for stakeholders and more effective for our clients.

**WHAT YOU SHOULD SPEND YOUR TIME DOING**:
Product
- Support the Data & Tech team in building custom solutions, delivering key projects and BAU operations, with respect to data analysis and models
- Design, build and deploy business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions that increase efficiencies in reporting requirements
- Analyse and query large volumes of data and implement processes
- Select and integrate relevant big data tools and frameworks to provide required capabilities
- Deliver reporting solutions on time and within budget
- Implement ETL data processing procedures where applicable
- Monitor infrastructure performance and optimise where necessary
- Performing regular data health checks to ensure data quality and completeness is adhered
- Guide the interpretation and communication of results of data analysis, and make recommendations of data literacy
- Ensure all works are being done in line with company and industry compliance standards
- Working on multiple projects involving various stages of the product life cycle
- Participate in R&D of projects and contribute to the innovation of new methods (ML, ad hoc models, engineering etc.)

Partnership
- Liaising with third party vendors; package vendors and outsourcing partners, as appropriate for delivery of solutions within area of responsibility
- Collaboration with external technology vendors e.g. publishers, DSPs, SSP’s, ad tech vendors etc for delivery of solutions within area of responsibility
- Interface and knowledge transfer between Agency, Commercial, Ops and Product department
- When required, collaborate with any regional and APAC WPP counterparts for economies of scale, knowledge share and any relevant technical streams

People
- Demonstrate good communication skills across all facets of your work
- Respond well to guidance and feedback from internal & external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with Data & tech team members and wider GroupM teams

Performance
- Ensure discretion and prioritisation is given to either supporting 100% commercial initiatives and/or time saving initiatives
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders in ensuring complex technical solutions are demystified and clearly understood
- Effectively and succinctly communicate risks in a timely manner, where applicable with suggested mitigation plan
- Deliver technical products and solutions on time, and within specification agreed upon by stakeholders involved
- Ensure a sound, reliable, ethical and robust governance framework is functioning effectively in line with WPP/GroupM policies and compliance requirements

**WHAT IT TAKES**
- Master’s degree (preferred) in a relevant field (Statistics/ Mathematics/Computer Science/Economics/Data Analytics)
- Previous experience in an analytical role (1-3yrs), ideally within Media industry but not mandatory
- A hunger to learn and specialise your skillset with an amazing team
- Flexibility to work in a cross-functional team but also have the initiative to solve the problem independently
- Initiative is key, this role will need a “let me figure this out” attitude rather than “tell me what to do attitude”
- Broad understanding of the programmatic landscape and technologies used (preferred)
- Hands on experience in integrating multiple technologies to bring products to life
