**Quantity Surveyor - Specialist NSW-based Civils Company**

**About the Roles**:Our client is actively seeking a Quantity Surveyor from a civil engineering background to work as a Project Quantity Surveyor on a large $40m package and then further large-scale civil projects from conception through to delivery.

**Duties**:

- Reporting to the Commercial Director
- liaise with internal teams, suppliers, clients, designers, etc
- Get involved in projects from inception to hand over of final accounts
- Cost planning, estimation, forecasting, budgeting, weekly and monthly reporting
- Subcontractor management
- Keeping an accurate and detailed eye on finances during the construction stage
- Managing cost variations and claims
- Finalising invoices and accounts
- Report writing

**About the Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying or related field
- A proven background in civil Engineering
- Knowledge of the Australian Civil Sector will be a huge advantage.
- Have a hands-on and can-do attitude
- Ability to work as part of a project team
- Accurate record keeping
- Adapt to change to n site and within the project
- Can take the initiative
- Good communication skills - liaising with internal & external clients
