Head of Campus

**The Y Vocational School** is a collection of 5 Schools operating across 8 sites that gives secondary aged students who have disengaged, or are at risk of disengaging from their education, a Real Opportunity to be the best person that they can be. The School was established 11 years ago and commenced with 40 students. The collective School now has an enrolment of 640 students.

The School operates within the Social Impact arm of the YMCA, and as such, the service delivery of both the School and other Social Impact programs are often inter-related to maximise impact.

**The YMCA Vocational School** is a multi-campus educational community based in Logan, North Lakes, Mango Hill, Ipswich, Redlands and Acacia Ridge.

**We are now seeking Head of Campus for our Junior Brisbane South Campus located in Acacia Ridge on a permanent full time basis.**

**The School operates **through an outcomes framework, where individual targets are set for each student. These targets relate to wellbeing (personal circumstances, emotional capabilities, attitudes), academic (employability skills, qualifications, results) and vocational (experience and involvement and career management skills) goals.

The YMCA is seeking a Head of Campus who has the experience, skills and capabilities to lead a team to be both best practice YMCA Ipswich Campus and achieve the School’s strategic intent.

You will be an assured leader with a nurturing approach that is based on a genuine care for students and staff, their welfare and holistic development. Your interactions with students and staff will be warm and encouraging, setting the tone for the school environment. You will be passionate about delivering innovative, creative and sustainable wellbeing, academic and vocational outcomes for our students.

As Head of Campus you will be the face of the Campus, promoting the YMCA's values and mission through your actions, passion and excellent communication skills. Your ability to engage with staff and communicate with vision will allow you to drive a culture of collaboration, bringing staff along with you on a continual journey of improvement and drive for excellence.
