**Your new role**
As an APS4/5 Compliance Officer you will be required to provide operation and administrative support that is informed by sound knowledge as well as undertake some research and analysis activities.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Reviewing and auditing data from multiple sources and assessing inconsistencies to ensure the agency delivers services and payments in line with legislation and policies.
- Engaging with providers and participants to address compliance requirement queries.
- Undertaking activities to assess and treat the risk of non-compliance by participants and providers, including inappropriate claims.
- Ensuring timely escalation of information and more complex cases to relevant teams for remediation in accordance with legislation.
- The key priorities of this role may change over time.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will be required to have previous federal government experience. You will be adaptable to a changing environment, be able to actively identify new areas for learning, effectively manage your time and resources to ensure that your work is completed efficiently and take full advantage of the opportunity to explore feedback on your own performance.

To be eligible for this position you will need to be an Australian Citizen and be willing to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)
