The workshop leading hand job is permanent after normal 3mth qualify period

the job supplies all safety gear boots glasses, overalls and any required to do the job safely

clear english speaking as a first language is a first priority and clear communication skills essential

the role involves working on the floor and directing work flow with co-workers on a daily basis and requires a eye for detail, working with with office staff to provide a quality product on time

the company is one of Australia's only industrial metal chemical cleaning business which processes every thing from machinery, to car bodies and, down to metal furniture.

it would be seen to be an advantage if the successfull applicant would, be licenced to drive a forklift,, but not essential

the factory uses High pressure water cleaning equipment and chemical baths to carry out the cleaning and working with them would form part of the daily duties

core daily Duties would include

actively working in the factory directing work flow for the most efficient results

liasing with other staff and management. occasional customers contact or arrange for pickup and deliveries at the door

a clean, and respectful attitude to customers and other staff members is essential

monitor daily supplies

a self motivated can do attitude is what we are looking for

Experience requirements, some previous experience in a leading role, with basic labouring skills, understanding basic tools, basic reading and writing, safety equipment to be worn all the time,

you will be trained on the job specific requirements of the job and position
