**The Opportunity**

Are you a Geologist with any of the below;
- an interest in working on offshore projects.
- has some relevant industry experience in predominantly offshore projects.

We are foreseeing growth in our Asian Pacific (APAC) Regional Geoconsulting team, based in Perth, due to increased workload in both traditional energy and renewables sectors in the region. We are, therefore, looking for Geologists to join our established team in West Perth. All of our positions are office based, although several in the team enjoy spending time offshore on our geotechnical drilling vessels.

Recent projects have included site characterisation projects for an offshore wind farm (OWF) in Korea; deep water geohazard assessments in Indonesia; desk top studies for OWF projects in Japan; finite element modelling of OWF turbine foundations exposed to earthquakes offshore Taiwan; pipeline design in the Middle East, and platform foundation design on the North West Shelf of Australia, and many, many more. Would your skill set fit within these projects?

**What we are looking for**
- Completed a relevant degree (Bachelor with a preference for Masters, or PhD in geology, geotechnical/civil engineering, engineering geology all considered).
- 2+ years experience post education in marine geologyConduct studies to then analyse, interpret and process seismic data

Work with geological specimen’s such as rock cores and cuttings to determine resources present
Experience with marine surveying campaigns
Exposure working with data collected from subsea drill tools
- An indication of your willingness to work offshore for periods of time (typically up to a max of 5 weeks per rotation). Note that not all staff are required to work offshore
- Self-motivated, and for more senior roles the ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision; and
- Good oral and written communication skills.
