Why join us?:
As a Senior Associate or Special Counsel, you’ll work closely with senior lawyers to deliver strategic and pragmatic legal advice across a diverse portfolio of **personal injury** and **property liability** matters. You’ll be involved in everything from coverage advice and dispute resolution to mentoring junior lawyers and driving business development.

This opportunity will be based in our Melbourne CBD office on a full-time, hybrid basis. All your technology needs will also be provided for

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage complex litigated and unlitigated files
- Provide coverage advice to insurers (local and London Underwriters)
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings and settlement agreements
- Appear in court and settlement conferences; instruct counsel
- Liaise with external stakeholders including clients, counsel, and experts
- Prepare evidence and submissions
- Mentor junior team members and support training initiatives
- Stay current with legal developments and industry trends
- Contribute to business development and uphold firm policies

What will help you succeed in this role?:

- Minimum 4 years post-admission experience in personal injury litigation
- Public liability experience required; property defence experience ideal
- Strong general litigation background
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document/time management systems
- Willingness to adopt AI and new technologies
- Collaborative mindset and proactive attitude
- High ethical standards and attention to detail
