As an Associate specializing in Major Projects & Infrastructure for our client, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier legal counsel and support for projects shaping Australia's infrastructure landscape. Collaborating with experienced professionals, you will contribute to the firm's legacy of providing exceptional legal services.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to guide major projects and infrastructure initiatives.
- Advise clients on legal aspects of project development, including regulatory compliance and risk assessment.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of project-related agreements and contracts.
- Collaborate across practice areas to provide holistic legal solutions tailored to clients' needs.
- Participate in client meetings, offering strategic insights and legal perspectives.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Assist in due diligence processes for project acquisitions.
- Engage with government authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university.
- Admission to the Australian legal practice as a solicitor.
- 2-5 years of experience in major projects and infrastructure law, preferably within a reputable law firm.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate legal concepts into practical advice.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
