**Your Organisation**
This leading FMCG organisation based in the South-Eastern suburbs are recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team. A leader in its field and who benchmarks the quality of products it takes to market; this organisation is driven by the values it has built its business upon. In turn this creates a supportive and innovative team to work within. It’s busy, it’s challenging but they have fun every day


**Your Role**
This pivotal role within the leadership team ensures that the finance function runs smoothly on a daily basis. The Bookkeeper will work closely with the leadership team, developing procedures and process improvement and assisting in ensuring the financial platform of the business is ready for the growth its planning for.

Reporting into the GM of the business, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for:
Transactional accounting - accounts payables and receivables

Bank/account reconciliations

Payroll

P&L reporting

month-end reporting

**About You**
You will have exceptional Bookkeeping experience coupled with critical thinking and the ability to think outside the box. You will use your initiative daily, make key decisions and provide key financial reports to the GM. You will be responsible for process improvement and have the drive to develop the role and your profile within the organisation. You will be a key member of the leadership team contributing to the business and the culture of the organisation. You will have the opportunity to work for a leading FMCG company, work in a team and rise to the challenge of a busy role contributing to the success of the business. If you have worked within Bookkeeping roles with retail or manufacturing that's desirable, however extensive knowledge of Xero is essential as is strong excel experience.
