**The Company**
Our client is a dedicated Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that provides employment, training, Community Development Programs and outreach services throughout Australia. Unlike the traditional classroom model, our client develops bespoke learning solutions within each client’s workplace, ensuring that training is individually tailored for the real work environment

**The Role**
As a Horticulture Trainer and Assessor, you are responsible for delivering and assessing:

- AHC20416 Certificate II in Horticulture
- AHC30716 Certificate III in Horticulture
- AHC40416 Certificate IV in Horticulture

This is a full-time role, located in Blacktown.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Training and assessment
- Recording and resulting assessment
- Following up outstanding assessment
- Providing support and guidance for learners
- Development and enhancement of learning and assessment material
- Ensure all materials, assessment plans, assessment tools are current, sufficient, valid and reliable
- Ensure that assessments meet the requirements of the endorsed components of Training Packages and the outcomes specified in accredited courses within the scope of registration.
- Ensure that assessments, regardless of whether through a training and assessment pathway or an assessment only pathways comply with relevant standards and requirements at all times
- Ensure that high quality training and assessment standards are maintained at all times
- Promote training courses throughout the community through individual contact and other means
- Certification IV Training & Assessment or higher
- Certificate IV in Horticulture or higher
- Previous VET Sector / RTO experience
- Experience in the delivery and assessment of vocational education and training
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
