Mindful Psychology is a contemporary private practice based in Woolloongabba, dedicated to compassionate, high-quality client care. We are looking for a Receptionist to provide a welcoming and efficient front desk experience, supporting our team in daily operations and helping to create a calm, organised environment for clients.
**Purpose of Role**
To deliver a client-centred front desk experience and support our clinical and management teams. Responsibilities include managing client communications, scheduling appointments, and processing accounts with care and precision.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Reception & Client Care**
- Greet clients warmly in person and on the phone, providing a friendly and professional experience.
- Manage bookings, cancellations, and appointment reminders with sensitivity.
- Keep the reception and waiting area tidy and serene, contributing to a positive atmosphere.
**Administrative Support**
- Set up and maintain confidential client files.
- Handle incoming mail and general enquiries promptly.
- Monitor office supplies and keep stock levels up-to-date.
**Financial Processing**
- Process client payments, Medicare rebates, and bulk-billing submissions.
- Balance daily takings, manage invoices, and track outstanding payments.
**Qualifications & Skills**
- At least 1 year of experience in a reception or client-facing role.
- Familiarity with Power Diary software is highly regarded.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with a client-focused approach.
**Employment Details**
- **Position Type**: Casual, with potential to transition to a permanent part-time role.
- **Hours**: Approximately 16 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours if needed.
**Additional Duties**
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts at short notice is required.
- Opportunity to support the management team as needed.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
Supplementary Pay:
- Penalty rates
