**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the managing director, the payroll administrator will be responsible for end-to-end payroll management, supporting over 350 employees across NSW and QLD.

You would be accountable for:

- End-to-end payroll management, maintaining accurate data, processing weekly payroll for more than350 employees.
- Manage payroll related inquires and issues, interacting directly with employees (phone and face-to-face).
- Consultation with HR team regarding employee onboarding, cross boarding, and terminations.
- Communicating and implementing updates around relevant awards and legislation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, company standards, expectations, and legislation.
- Manage administrative Workcover paperwork, interacting with managers and HR department.
- Build reports and interact with the financial department regarding Superannuation and Payroll taxation.
- Maintain data accuracy and record keeping.
- Assist in some admin duties when required.

**Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Solid experience managing end-to-end payroll processing or similar.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- The proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- High level attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills, multi-tasking, and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of awards such as retail, transport, warehousing and logistics and Fair Work legislation.
- Experience with payroll and HR systems like MicrOPay, Employment Hero or ELMO would be highly regarded.
- Experience in implementing new payroll systems would be an advantage.
- Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, push & pull, some heavy lifting, and stand for extended periods of time.
