Technical Service Advisor

TME Motorsport is looking for a **Technical Service Advisor / Workshop Coordinator **to join our growing team.

**In this role, you will be**:

- The key contact between our technicians and clients.
- Responsible for bookings, managing schedules, and regular updates throughout the project to deliver an exceptional client experience and efficient project workflow.
- Responsible for invoicing, parts coordination, and general administrative tasks to assist project workflow.

This is a full time salary role.

- Proficient in invoicing, quoting, and general admin tasks.
- Familiarity with job scheduling and inventory management.
- Previous experience in a customer service or service advisor role within the automotive industry and knowledge of performance upgrades and motorsport desirable but not essential.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- **Client Communication**:Act as the primary contact for clients, providing updates on project status, cost and changes to the project, explaining technical issues and solutions, and addressing any queries.
- **Job Intake & Workflow Coordination**:Create detailed job plans based on customer input and/or technician feedback. Schedule jobs efficiently, ensuring that technician and workshop time is optimised.
- **Invoicing & Documentation**:Prepare estimates and invoices, detailing works completed and further recommendations. Manage customer records, parts orders, and supplier communications.
- **Administrative Support**:Work closely with the administration and sales staff to maintain customer records. Undertake webstore updates and oversee inventory management, ensuring parts are ordered and tracked for each job.
- **Technician Support**:Work closely with the technicians to document work performed and assist with job preparation and task prioritisation.
- **Promotion**:Promoting the TME Motorsport brand in various ways (e.g. in person, on the phone, social media, at events etc.)

Our facilities include an enclosed dynamometer cell and large dedicated areas for specialty work such as suspension setup and alignment, wiring, drivetrain assembly and fabrication.

**Hours**:
Our Business days are Tuesday to Saturday. Some flexibility of working hours may be available, for example a 4-Day working week or a 9-Day fortnight.

**Easy Access**:
Our workshop is conveniently located a short walk from Emu Plains train station.

**Minimum requirements are**:

- A valid unrestricted manual drivers license
- An Australian work permit
- Computing and social media skills

**Salary**:
Base salary commensurate with ability.
