**ABOUT THE ROLE**
TAFE NSW is seeking Part Time Casual Teachers of Horticultural Trades. Working with vibrant, energetic educators we deliver classes face-to-face and virtually. We support Apprentices during block courses and facilitate practical learning on campus or offsite on location. In the role, you will be able to impart your technical skills and the industry standard safety culture to your students.

The role is responsible for a range of activities, which supports learners, and enhances the student learning experience. As a professional educator you will skill the workforce of tomorrow by constructing and guiding the educative process with a mixture of online workshops and classroom delivery.

**ABOUT YOU**
Keeping pace with rapidly emerging skill areas with specialist knowledge requires you to be highly flexible and adaptable.

You must have strong computer skills, ideally with SharePoint document libraries, MS Teams and general systems knowledge to be able to assist with the delivery of course content to students via the various training platforms.

It’s important you understand current and emerging industry skills needs so TAFE NSW can be responsive to industry and customers. Your understanding will ensure the training you deliver aligns with in-demand and priority areas. If you are interested in collaborating with a large team of industry experts in an innovative and dynamic way by sharing your real-world industry knowledge, then this is the right role for you.

**To be successful in this role you must**:

- Hold the minimum vocational qualification in one or more of the following - Cert III in Horticulture, Cert III Parks and Gardens, Cert III Landscape Construction.
- Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or the TAE40110 qualification with the required additional upgrade units, or higher-level qualification in adult education.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years relevant and post-qualification experience in the industry relevant to your qualification. Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
