**Position Information**:
The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. **About the Role**

Recreation Coordinator supervises a departmental school's sport and physical recreation programme and will be expected to source and develop a schedule of various traditional and contemporary sporting and recreational activities for schools which includes liaising with clubs to develop best practice in coaching and youth development. The role includes the set-up of sporting facilities infrastructure and equipment, monitor and maintain the fields and the supervision of sporting activities

**Essential Requirements**
- Valid Working With Children Check clearance (paid employment);
- Ablility to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Ability to work afternoons, evenings and weekends as requried.

We are seeking a Recreation coordinator - Sport and Recreation Officer who is passionate about working in a boarding school environment. Source and develop throughout the scholastic year, a schedule of various traditional and contemporary sporting and recreational activities for the Hurlstone Agricultural High School boarding community.

**Additional School Information (Optional)**
Hurlstone Agricultural High School is the only NSW Government fully selective, coeducational, agricultural, boarding high school. It is located in Glenfield, 36 km south west of the Sydney central business district.
