**your opportunity**

We are excited to announce that we are expanding our employment services teams and are recruiting a new **Job Placement Coach** for our **Transition to Work** team in Browns Plains As the **Job Placement Coach**, you will be part of a support team that works together with the young person and will focus on building their skills, confidence, and readiness to enter employment through targeted and tailored activities.

Your role will include:

- Completing intake assessments with the job seeker to determine work readiness.
- Manage a caseload of young people between the ages of 15 to 24.
- Working in collaboration with the job seeker to goal set and implement strategies.
- Source and match employment opportunities for young job seekers using a strengths based, client-centred approach.
- Connecting with relevant community organisations to support work readiness.
- Job matching, cold calling, and reverse marketing the job seeker to employers.
- Facilitate and run job focused group activities and workshops for young people with the aim of building work readiness to secure ongoing employment. Activities could include job searching, resume writing, interview skills, and employability skills.

**This is a Full Time Permanent Position Based in Browns Plains QLD**

C**ompetitive Base salary + 10.5% Superannuation + salary packaging + Monthly RDO’s**

- A solid understanding of the local labour market as well as the barriers faced by disadvantaged young people.
- The drive to meet KPIs - it isn’t just a number; it is a young person’s life that you help change for the better.
- Proficient skills in using technology and systems; our compliance requirements are high, and your administration needs to be on par with this.
- Great employer engagement skills - you love cold calling and reverse marketing.
- Your practice is client focused, our young people are at the heart of it, and you genuinely want to make a difference in their lives.
- Are adaptable by nature - no two days are the same in **Transition to Work**.

**Transition to Work (TtW)** is the Australian Government’s youth specialist employment service that supports young people to develop practical skills to gain employment or connect with education or training.
