Our client, a large Australian telco, is **urgently looking for a Senior Scrum Master with strong experience in project management and delivery focus**. This role will liaise with multiple cross-functional teams and ensure team adherence to Agile framework.
**Location - Sydney**
**Responsibilities**
Removes blockages/impediments, and works with stakeholders to optimise project delivery through a correctly prioritised backlog
- Coach teams in agile values, principles and practices
- Plan, set up and facilitate agile events including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint
reviews and retrospective
- Shape the design of processes and practices used by the team based on their maturity and help the team manage and resolve conflicts and challenges, play a key role in improving team cohesion motivation, dynamics, and performance.
- Create an environment of trust and respect where issues or concerns can be raise safely
- Review and define the product backlog, reprioritising and re-assessing the relevance of tasks/stories
- Co-ordinate with other teams as required to manage dependencies and support the team to deliver
- Develop and deliver presentations, conduct rituals and events, and be actively involved
in communication and change activities involving stakeholders
**Requirements -**
- Strong Project Management and Delivery Management experience
- Experience in a Senior Scrum Master role
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Strong Jira experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
