Our Client is on the hunt for a full time lead content writer, to manage a team of freelance writers. The role can be remote (Australia - wide) or we have space in Sydney CBD office, so the option to hybrid work from the office and from home is there.

We are looking for a talent B2B content writer with experience working in a fast - paced agency.

**Must haves**:

- Ability to develop and write unique and engaging content
- Ability to write for specific briefs and target personas
- Proven experience in formulating cross
- platform content strategies for clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High accountability for results; you thrive in a transparent environment
- High degree of initiative and the ability to work independently

**Nice to haves**:

- B2B marketing experience
- Agency experience
- Adept at keyword research & SEO practices
- HubSpot experience

**Key responsibilities in this role include**:

- Ensure that all content for the client is of high quality, on-brand, appropriate for the target persona, and in line with the client’s marketing strategy.
- Brief and QA any content created by freelancers, and liaise with them through the process to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
- Own and maintain the client’s organic social calendar and editorial calendar to ensure deliverables are presented on time.
- Work across a selected number of clients to understand their respective industry and trends to input into content strategy and market opportunities.
- Ongoing research and monitoring of the client’s market, competitor offerings, and industry publications to identify content opportunities.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of client’s products, personas, and POVs, and identify opportunities for updating or expanding on them as the brand evolves.
- Manage entire milestones within projects, working directly with the client to respond to any questions or feedback and make amends accordingly.
- Work closely with Account Managers & Strategic Leads to ensure that content strategies are being delivered on time and producing the intended results.
- Conduct interviews with third parties or clients to obtain content for ebooks, blogs etc.
- Notify the team if new skills, tools, or other resources are required to improve the content creation process. We would love it if you can:

- Work to create the best content on any given topic, and position our clients as thought leaders in their respective industries and fields.
- Be a great listener who uses what they have learned to drive the creation of top-quality content.
- Develop content that is imaginative, creative, and unique, which uses storytelling to create a lasting impact on the desired audience.
- Have a data-driven approach to your work and understand the importance of proper monitoring to create the desired results.
