**Your new role**

This role requires you to provide specialised technical guidance to the companies entities, assisting the Payroll, HR and Finance teams to achieve their regular processing goals and targets. The role also ensures that the HRIS ichris system is safe, compliant, accessible, and meet the requirement for the business.
- Lead projects for the improvements to the payroll system
- Accurate and timely auditing/reporting of various payroll activities
- Understand and deliver to the client plan and meet client expectations
- Contribute to efficiencies across the client
- Work with Frontier and payroll systems leadership to configure and implement the system
- Document processes and maintain configuration in a Central Configuration Blueprint
- Ongoing role to manage security, updates, new fields/codes, etc.
- Active participation the in the Payroll/HR Implementation project, including requirements gathering, data analysis and manipulation, data migration, testing and go-live support

**What you'll need to succeed**
- A strong understanding of Ichris/chris21 used in complex environments
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (fluent in VLOOKUP, PIVOT tables. Macro programming an advantage)
- A team player, proactive with high attention to detail
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to deliver outcomes on deadline
- Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and how it applies to systems
- Understanding of key risks in payroll systems and common points of failure.
- Proven experience coordinating, testing and implementing system upgrades and enhancements within Payroll and HRIS
- Payroll implementation experience as a BA/System Admin
- Experience in a payroll implementation project in a large, complex environment OR extensive experience working as part of the payroll team during an implementation
