Cement Plant Operator

Based at Pinkenba you will be required to become multi-skilled to meet the interesting challenges of production operations, in our exciting 24hr days, 7 days a week cement plant

**Duties**
- Operation of the cement plant (Grinding Mills & Packaging Lines) and Mobile Equipment (Front End Loaders, Forklifts & Excavators)
- Collection and analysing of all cement production samples
- Diagnose plant problems, instigate repairs and participate with maintenance staff as required
- Grease & Clean Mobile Machinery
- Perform Inspections on both fixed and mobile plant equipment
- Comply with Wagners Obligations under Chain of Responsibility
- Any other related tasks associated with this position

**Skills and Experience**
- Forklift Licence
- Proficient in using computers
- Experience working in a continuous manufacturing workplace (Preferable)
- Experience working on a rotating continuous shift roster (Preferable)
- Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and a flexible 'can-do' attitude
