The Opportunity Samsung Electronics Australia is looking for a demand and supply planning team leader, who will oversee a team of spare parts planners responsible for managing the demand forecasts and channel distribution analysis. **Role and Responsibilities** - Leading, train and mentor a small team of Demand and supply planners, ensuring the team meets the Samsung standards. - Leading the demand planning process and developing demand forecast models for spare parts. - Preparing for the development of inventory strategies related to existing and new spare parts, phase-out and source changes. - Engage global counterparts, suppliers, and vendors to facilitate and maintain the forecasting and demand planning process. - Perform scenario modelling to produce analytics which aids effective decision making, this includes working with big data. **Skills and Qualifications** Samsung Electronics Australia is looking for a thriving individual with a "can do" attitude and proactive approach. Relevant experience / skills include: - 5+ years relevant experience in similar role - Experience in Supply chain management - Ability to implement and drive a new project - Strong leadership capability to build a team - Have the confidence to engage and influence senior leaders - Preferably have experience with a supply and demand forecasting tool and SAP skills are highly desirable **What sets us apart from the rest?** A global leader in all things innovation - this opportunity will fast track your career.
