**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We’re looking for someone who likes both.

We have a suite of ‘prudential’ policies covering treasury, credit and other trading activities and we’re looking for a specialist in treasury middle office functions to help us enhance our program of monitoring, reporting and continually improving these aspects of our business.

This role will be working closely with the Group Manager Compliance, ensuring that our program is appropriate and effective across all ‘prudential’ policies.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Monitor and report on compliance with the Gold Corporation’s Prudential Management Policy (PMP), investigate reasons for any breaches, and escalate following the appropriate escalation points.
- Perform daily oversight function of:

- Processing tasks in relation to the full scope of the middle office services, including but not limited to Internal Treasury, Depository, and Minted Products transactions.
- Client transactions against agreed limits or positions.
- Ensure all operational controls are being observed by 1st Line (front office) teams and where opportunity exist, improve to reduce overall risk exposure.
- In conjunction with relevant stakeholders continuously review and update the Prudential Management Policy as per agreed review schedules.
- Drive continual improvement in treasury trading and credit risk ratings, alerts, and methodologies by regularly seeking feedback, reviewing appropriate processes, and making necessary updates to these functions.
- Maintain registers and adequate control over securities documentations, system updates and correspondence as related to Treasury or Credit functions.
- Collate information and regularly generate reports to assist the Risk and Compliance leadership in reporting to the Board, Committees & Executive on Prudential Management matters, compliance, investigations, regulatory changes, collation of compliance attestations from Executive and General Managers and ongoing monitoring of business functions.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Demonstrated experience in a middle office, treasury, or compliance related role.
- Bachelor’s degree (or working towards) in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
